Tried isopropyl alcohol instead of methyl alcohol in my Swedish military #trangia .

It worked but WOW the soot! It's also less lively to light than with methyl alcohol.

The methyl alcohol is definitely better but at least I know I can use isopropyl if need be.

Currently burning the isopropyl away to see if using methyl after isopropyl causes any problems. I suspect not.

Baking pizza on my overnight camp with my Trangia and the Omnia oven .. it worked perfectly fine 👌👍🍕 🤩

Serendipity - a frying pan bought a couple of years ago at a local shop as it was the only one of that size that they had in stock fits perfectly on a Trangia 27 bought two decades ago.

I made a fry up on it during a power cut earlier this morning. Our back up systems all worked as expected. Now I need to get a battery back up system to be able to run our fresh water pump during power cuts.

The vegetables in the pan are home grown.
