That happy feeling when a pastry stout isn't (overly) sweet. 🎉 There is so much going on here, every sip is different. One big flavour rollercoaster ride: chocolate, vanilla, coconut, citrus fruit, almonds and some bitterness. Awesome. 🍻

Nice dinner at Hai Hai in NE Mpls. Thai food doesn't really lend itself to #stoutTuesday, and uncuriously there was nary a dark choice on the beer list.
Made it work with #IndeedBrewing Bia-Side Pilsner and #FallingKnife Tomm’s lager, both light choices to offset the heat!
I don’t have a story to go with this one…how odd. Just read the label, quite the story of this long standing brewer!

Barrel-aged Coconut S’mores is big and boozy, full-bodied with a marshmallow nose and deep sugar and chocolate coconut finish.

Snow storm so of course it’s a day to have an offsite in downtown Minneapolis. Brave the snow storm with a visit to Red Rabbit and a #Modist Breffix coffee stout.
Creamy smooth with a light finish and hints of vanilla. Very nice!
And the snow stopped in time for the ride home! Yay!
