For #stouturday dessert I finally tried #invictusBrewing Pearson’s Nut Goodie Milk Stout. It’s been on the list for years.
Creamy sweet chocolate, the maple is subtle and the peanut flavor is just a bit to the burnt side, leaving a lasting caramel burnt bitter flavor. Serve it warmer than you’d think to get the flavors.
1/2 a can is plenty.

Kids said they did a double take on this one, unsure if I’d had it. I had, but a good time for a repeat.

Creamy cocoa smell, lots of dry cocoa mouth feel like that old Nestle Quik. Sweet but Light on the vanilla, not as rich as an Oreo. Maybe needs more lard?
