Creamy vanilla and tea opener, sweet milky body, hints of cinnamon, chocolate, and gentle spice on the finish.
A beautiful tea time nightcap!
The last of the #surlyBrewing tasters was the Smoked Porter.
No picture, not really worth one. Hardly any smoke, even after fully warmed. Meh Porter flavor, just disappointing.
There was some discussion of the nose resembling hot dog water…not the comparison you really want.
That second #surlyBrewing glass? The Dopplebock!
Light and refreshing with a nice caramel body. First time I have had this one, there will be a second.

Coffee Bender Brown Ale - Big coffee on this tall brown, a pleasant malt and bitter finish
Paired with some simply AMaZInG food, the molé pork bowl and Darkness cake for dessert made for a lovely evening
