The storm drain in front of our house spontaneously sprouted what looks to be firewheel flowers, which aren't native to this continent. Very pretty though, I wonder from whose garden they escaped 😅

Living frog - dead frog. Both fished from a stormdrain where they were stuck. Happy about the living one, sad about the dead frog. Installing frog stairs is too late for this little creature, but it will benefit future frogs who are just drawn to water.

While I wish that were the case, it really isn’t — storm drains smell like shit, and while you can have some fun in them, you’re more likely to injure yourself or drown than experience any real entertainment.That is, unless you have fireworks.Yeah, turns out shooting fireworks just about anywhere rocks, but in a storm drain, it’s even cooler. In this case, these dudes shot off a firework into a drain and made not only an incredible explosion, but generated a sound unlike anything I’ve heard before.
