It's insane that if you need more detailed info about a #computer or any other modern device the manufacturer is the last place to look. Sales specs are useless crap when it comes to #technical #specifications. I was looking for information about the spare m.2 port on one of my older #lenovo laptops and of course "256 GB SSD storage" is the best lenovo will tell you in their "tech spec". Really? That's your tech spec? Why not just write "machine go brrrrr" and call it a day?

Reading posts about #LLM from management folks, I think they have forgotten the basics such as
1. #productivity != gains,
2. #specifications are hard to get right,
3. English (natural language) is less precise than #programming #languages, and
4. gains are almost always unrealized due to chasing wrong goals.
