You know what was wrong with Apple’s WWDC & SOTU videos? The presenters’ voices sounded like they were recorded in a sound booth, not where they were in the video. This created an Uncanny Valley effect that made me think they were AI Generated characters; even Craig & Tim. It was very strange, and took a while to put my finger on.
A) Siri AI seems a little slow. They were always able to say an entire sentence or two before a reply was available.
B) The Siri AI app doesn’t look like it has any way to organize conversations
C) Stop trying to do ANYTHING automatic with my browser tabs!
Still, I’m glad it’s almost here.

This whole “60 Minutes” fiasco is tragic, and emblematic of these times. Ugh.

By noon, when I told Meta it happened just before 7am Eastern, they realized. After a few verifications, everything was back.
Time to own my own web presence, and (re)adopt more open decentralized systems.
I woke up to my instagram, Facebook, messenger, and threads accounts all having been permanently disabled, with no chance to appeal the decision or log people out of the account. All dead. No recourse. Was a member of all of them from year 1 if not day 1. And I use 1Password and complex unique passwords and 2FA religiously.
