Because of various confusions, misorderings, need-to-use-upidness. This yellow split pea soup contains four types of turnip and two types of carrot.

It's really good. But it's a bit of a George’s marvellous medicine in that it's never going to happen again. 😅

I hate wasting food, so the water that I used to briefly steam the brussels sprouts and broccoli, plus half the soybean cooking liquid from the other day are now in the Instant Pot with a soup bag from the freezer. This one is carrot, onion, broccoli and cauliflower with red lentils and spices by the look of the frozen block. It will be excellent for the week ahead.
