SamI've just purchased the domain solent.social as I'm thinking about possibly making that an instance that my friends, family, local business' and more can join.
In the end the local social group could easily start using an instance like that and then move away when they feel like a new part of the Fediverse, different software or anything else makes more sense for them.
I'm not sure if that's the best idea or if I'm just sorta just overstepping with creating this sort of stuff.
