A downtown Phoenix map! Actually a photo by iPhone for a great view from 15th floor. To left center is the majority of “action” in Phoenix, like where the Diamondbacks and Suns play. Where the most bars and nightlife is for general visitors. It’s where some tall, large old-style hotels are and conventions meet. Oh and the Maricopa County courts and busy jail is.

But I marked with a blue arrow top right “The Tunnel” which is where a LOT of traffic must flow 24/7 on I-10. I may be exaggerating but it is at least a quarter mile long underground in the center of Phoenix. Can you imagine a car accident in The Tunnel???? Yes, all who have to use it think about it because it does happen. And believe me, your heart sinks when you approach it and see it is backed up and no vehicle is moving. And you can’t exit. Omg. It happens.

On another note, the orange arrow center and lower right is where I parked. Closest I can get to the hospital to park. Anywhere surrounding this 17 story building is completely full of parked vehicles. I was involuntarily parked 2 blocks away. I do feel like I’ve had “exercise” today. Fortunately I feel better than a dreadful day on Saturday. And it’s only 75°. Yay! I may post more photos from on high later. If anyone is interested.
