The movie has a huge cast, lots of familiar names, all of them spectacular, but shout-out to #KevinKline in particular for his Golden-Globe-nominated role.

A ★★½ review of Soapdish (1991)
I remember laughing my ass off at this when it first came out - but haven't seen it since. Watching it now it just feels dated and awkward and they were trying way too hard to make something out of nothing. Stellar cast too, Sally Field, Kevin Klein, Robert Downy Jr, Elizabeth Shue AND Whoopi Goldberg. It should have been way better than what it was. Only got 2.5 stars because there were a few scenes that made me chuckle.

- soap bar is always dry
- accumulation of residuals in the fine grid below is minimal
- a quick rinse with hot water gets rid of it immediately
- TESA powerstrips still rule
- amazing to have the sink free from stuff for cleaning
