Time travel isn't real, but it's more likely than the body armor Doc Brown wore in Back to the Future.

I don't think even the best modern body armor would let you survive that barrage. Certainly nothing that could be concealable even with a baggy protective suit. Maybe he wouldn't be full of holes but that much lead at such a short range would shatter his rib cage and turn the soft tissue to goo.

If by some miracle he survived he wouldn't be getting up for weeks.

Oh, and the terrorists all aiming center mass? No one went for the head? No one missed and accidentally hit the head?

All that kinetic energy had to go somewhere. To not pulverize his body entirely, a huge portion would have to be converted to something else, like heat. Maybe that sort of superscience armor is in his reach, but where is he sending the heat?

It's the most wildly implausible part of the movie. At least the time travel mostly follows some sort of internal logic and some solutions to relativity suggest time travel might be possible, albeit with some concerns regarding the implications.

That body armor straight up ignores conservation of energy. If Doc Brown can do that he's not a scientist, not even a mad one, he's a wizard.

Doc Brown could have been the wealthiest defense contractor in history selling his Plot brand body armor.
