Cervical cancer death rates among women in the United Kingdom have fallen by around 80% since 1950.

In 1950 there 8.6 deaths from cervical cancer per 100 000 women. By 2021 this had fallen to 1.7.

Had my smear test today and it was pretty awful (the staff were lovely but it took like half an hour which was bad and obviously uncomfortable).

Ever since I’ve been dizzy especially on changing position (laying to sit, sit to stand, stand to sit etc). This wasn’t an issue before. I thought maybe I just needed food and a nap so I tried both and I’m still dizzy. Naturally gp is now closed.

Anyone know what this is and how to make it stop? #smearTest
