Dnes je Český den proti rakovině 🌼 již třicátý ročník sbírky organizované Ligou proti rakovině Praha.

Letošním tématem jsou nádory hlavy a krku. V Česku jich přibývá ročně přes dva tisíce případů (cca 4–5 % ze všech diagnostikovaných nádorových onemocnění). Většinou u mužů, zhruba tři čtvrtiny souvisejí s kouřením a alkoholem. Část jde i na vrub infekce lidským papilomavirem #HPV – proti té existuje očkování, plně hrazené pro dívky i chlapce v rozmezí 11–15 let.
