David WilkinsYesterday, I featured the Mitsubishi i-MiEV, a second-generation Smart ForFour manqué if ever there was one. Smart did offer a ForFour version of its third-generation model, snapped here in 2017 at SMMT Test Day North. This car was of a similar configuration to the older i-MiEV but was actually a sister car to the 2014 Renault Twingo - although the electric version of the Twingo appeared much later than Smart’s equivalent, in 2020.
