I am curious #fediverse. What Mastodon / Fediverse clients are you using and why?

And do you have any preferences when it comes to your timeline and what is rendered? Are you e.g. filter out replies, boosts or embracing every type of content?

I am currently experimenting with some clients. My favorite web/desktop client is Phanpy. Love the way threads are handled and visualized. Mobile also Phanpy as PWA or Pachli atm.

Okay, so I changed some settings in VLC lately, and now this overlay is on the top of every video (I was playing with subtitles, but may have changed something else as well) does anyone know what setting caused this? The text never changes, it always just says VLC. I don't feel like resetting all settings, that is a last resort method.
By the way, the marquee closed captions setting was disappointing. I thought it would make captions move in a marquee fashion. It unfortunately does not.
