Die Screen Crab von Hak5 ist die nächste Evolutionsstufe der Video-Hardware-Hacks. Im Gegensatz zum VideoGhost speichert sie nicht nur lokal, sondern streamt das Bildsignal direkt über WLAN.

Alle Inhalte, egal ob Screenshots oder Videoaufzeichnungen des Bildschirms, werden auf der microSD-Karte gespeichert. Hier liegt auch die Konfigurationsdatei, für die lediglich ein Texteditor benötigt wird. Wenn das Gerät in ein WLAN mit Internetzugang eingebunden ist, wird der Bildschirminhalt zum Command-and-Control-Server übertragen.

T-minus three days until Thanksgiving so the week is going to be dense — the first part with work and the latter with eating.

Seems like whenever things get a little crazy I find moments to tap out and do something unrelated to the tasks at hand.

Spent a chunk of this evening watching YouTube videos to learn new methods of prototyping in Figma — mostly to refresh navigation for the site here, but it will be valuable info I can apply to a lot of other projects.

I was so wrapped up in this madness, the only photo of the day was a BeReal (and has awful color temperature issues). The screen grab above is supplementary and also horizontal, which fits better into the current scheme.

Spent WAY too much time this morning on the ins-and-outs of browser screen capturing. It's a much more fraught area than I remember when I was doing something similar from a MacOS Cocoa apps a decade and half ago.
