We've worked hard with the team at Find Out Media, led by @TimFullerton, to provide a Social Web enabled app and bring their vision of an alternative space to life ✨️
Find Out Social is an app built solely for Find Out Social users. It's connected to the Social Web whilst sheltering the community from complexity, allowing them to share knowledge and work to combat the rise of the right.
You may be kind of sick of so much promotion of the new Find Out Social server, but would like to explain why.
This account exists because of a strongly held belief that decentralized public social media is the answer to authoritarian control of social media.
When a media organization chooses not to be beholden to some corporate network, but rather to strike off on it's own and control their own their own destiny it's an important step toward that potential.
