and for context, i was clearing out a flareon mass outbreak with my level 60 gyarados on autobattle, when, suddenly, it wouldn’t attack this here sawsbuck.

and then, it hit me: the autobattle function will not kill shinies.

i would personally like to thank the person who developed this precaution.
