Ein weiteres Thema, dass danke #Apple und Co nicht sonderlich einfach zu händeln ist. Mir geht es hier um den Ersatz für "Apple Notes". Markdown ist ein wunderbarer Ersatz. Unter Linux ist das kein Problem, wie auch ein guter Artikel auf "Linux-Content.org" zeigt:

Wie man hier sieht, habe ich mir unter Linux also #ReText runtergeladen.
Unter meinem #tuxedo OS (Ubuntu) ließ er sich problemlos über Dolphin laden und es sieht wunderbar aus, nicht zu überladen, nicht zu kompliziert.
Die Dateien liegen bei mir auf meinem NAS (ausschließlich intern) und dort wird über die #Nextcloud synchronisiert. Damit hab ich das Thema für den Laptop quasi abgeschlossen. Nun kommt aber die Mobile Komponente.

Hier hab ich mal gesucht und fand 2 Lösungen:
Die erste und einfachste ist, sich z.B. ein Tool wie "1Writer" zu kaufen (5,99 Euro zum Zeitpunkt der Erstellung dieses Artikels). Damit kann ich per WebDav eine Verbindung aufbauen zur Nextcloud, kann dort einen Ordner in der App auswählen und somit direkten Zugriff auf dieselben Files nehmen.
Das funktioniert schnell und zuverlässig in meinen Tests. Solltet Ihr da noch andere Apps kennen, gern her damit. Mein Ziel ist es gewesen, nicht alle Files erst auf das Handy oder Tablet zu ziehen, zu bearbeiten und dann wieder hochzuladen. Ich möchte sie direkt bearbeiten.
Den Nextcloud Editor nutze ich deswegen nicht, weil er nicht sauber funktioniert. Freie Zeilen werden anders erkannt, Aufzählungen gerne durcheinandergewürfelt usw.
Die zweite Möglichkeit ist #Joplin mit der #joplinapp
Vorteil hier, man kann es entweder direkt über die Nextcloud synchronisieren, oder aber #Joplinsync nutzen (unterschiedliche Preiskategorien). Die Server hierfür liegen in Frankreich, laut Aussage von Joplin.
Eine App, sauberers Markdown soweit ich das sehe, übersichtlich und mit der Synchronisation problemlos nutzbar. Beim Synchronisieren über die Nextcloud kommt es bei einigen zu langen Sync- Zeiten, liegt eventuell am Anbieter oder Server, da hab ich nichts näheres.
Nachteil ist natürlich, dass man zusätzlich zahlen muss. Die texteditor Auswahl ist allerdings bei iOS nicht sonderlich prickelnd, sofern man die Nextcloud als Ausgang nimmt und nicht Apple iCloud, was bei mir Bedingung ist.
Obsidian fiel raus, weil ich einmal nicht sehen kann, wo die Server liegen (soll welche in Asien, Europa usw. geben und man soll die wählen können) und weil die Software nicht Open ist.

Fixing my first ever bug was a fun experience. I am not sure when and if there will be another chance for me to do so! It was a bug fix regarding syntax highlighting in #ReText, the #Markdown editor I've been raving about lately. 😜
Lots of "firsts" this week for me:
1. Completed pull requests on 3 projects & got them all merged! Esp proud of the #retext #markdown editor syntax highlighting fix.
2. Joined a web-ring (if you could call it that?) community—#512kbclub by @kev!
In the end I got it down to 499kB. MonaspaceVar font taking up a good 100kB+ chunk of the uncompressed total. I need to find a spot to put the club badge! Excited :)
3. Bought an official #nanoblock #ultraman 200pc (only had knockoffs before).
