📝 Ende von MkDocs

Python-Projekte werden häufig mit Material for MkDocs dokumentiert. Das habe ich auch lange genutzt, nach einem Streit zwischen den Entwickler:innen splittern diese sich auf in Zensical, ProperDocs, MkDocs 2. Nun muss ich mir überlegen, was ich für meine Projekte in Zukunft nutzen möchte und habe mich noch nicht abschließend entscheiden können.

The missing highlighting for Kotlin is also very subtle.

The flipping of highlighted code is negligible unless you are really looking for it. If you know you just know, and if that bothers you, this is not for you! 🙃

In the last few days, I’ve experimenting with a new SSG as a replacement for my secondary site that’s still running #WordPress—the #CMS I learnt to create my first website.

Once the migration is over, I won’t have to manage a dynamic website any more. Hurray, #StaticSites for the win!

I'm replacing @WordPress with @zensical

@filipe usei um pouco de Joomla por volta do ano 2000! Depois acabei indo parar no Wordpress por muitos anos, até 2015 eu trabalhava numa firma de treinamentos, "formação" como vocês dizem em Portugal :)
Saindo da firma, passando a fazer projetos mais pessoais, nos últimos anos usei muito o GitHub pages (que é baseado em um Jekyll rodando nos servidores deles), e resolvi reduzir a minha dependência dessa plataforma.
No momento estou estudando #Zensical que é um outro gerador de sites estáticos (herdeiro espiritual do MkDocs+Materials que é popular na comunidade Python).

¡Diablos! Mi página web está construida con el tema Material que funciona sobre MkDocs. Lo amo, es muy potente. Y mientras la renderizaba me encontré con una advertencia en la terminal y un enlace a la siguiente página ⚠️:

Is there anyone here using #Zensical on #Codeberg Pages? I could use some help, I'm feeling quite stupid.

Another (good, maybe preferable) option would be to update the site on a shared webhosting account using sftp? I find the ssh thing quite challenging really :(
