Orthogonal Mega Charizard Y

#Nanoblock #Pokémon

Mega Charizard Y animated with OpenSCAD. (It's mirrored because of a bug in one of my scripts.)

...and Eevee (16 frames, 10 fps).

Vaporeon. 20 frames, 10 fps. The colours are a bit wrong.

Lucario.
1) built from a Nanoblock set
2) converted into OpenSCAD's format with my voxel2scad.py at https://github.com/qalle2/isometry
3) animated with OpenSCAD (16 frames)
4) screenshots cropped with my batchcrop.py at https://qalle.neocities.org/nanoblock/
5) saved as an animated GIF with GNU IMP (10 fps)
(I may have posted a similar animation with worse perspective before.)

Looks like the designers of Nanoblock Pokémon took the non-cubic shape of the bricks into account. Left to right:
- Nanoblock Lucario with bricks as tall as they're wide (incorrect)
- Nanoblock Lucario with bricks 4/3 times as tall as they're wide (correct)
- Lucario in "Lucario and the Mystery of Mew" (credit: Bulbagarden/Hmdwgf)

My Nanoblock measurements (a 1*1*1 brick):
- width and length: 3.0 mm = 0.12 in (15 bricks = 60 mm)
- height: 4.0 mm = 0.16 in (50 bricks = 152 mm)
- stud height (goes inside the brick above): another 1.5 mm = 0.06 in (2 studs = 3 mm)
Measured with a ruler with rules at 1-mm intervals.
