Eugenia Kuyda and Luka Inc don't deserve abuse for having to negotiate a particularly badly-timed GDPR lawsuit, but they do deserve criticism for:

1. Their high-and-mighty attitude to user concerns
2. Replying to Business Insider but not to customer emails
3. Disregarding trust and safety when building an AI
4. Announcing major functionality changes through Facebook admins
5. Essentially allowing their subreddit to become a mental-health dumpster fire.
