So the city of Tempe, AZ voted down a proposition for a new stadium for the 'Yotes. Now they are going to weigh their options with the #NHL.

This subject has dominated the r/NHL sub-reddit. There is speculation that either Houston or Kansas City could be a possible destination for the team. There are those still hopeful for a return of the NHL to Quebec City.

All I know is this: Bettman has tried his damnedest to shock this team back to life and make the AZ market work. It hasn't. And I doubt they can find any ownership willing to keep the team there. Bettman needs to just let the team re-locate. I sincerely doubt he will let a franchise go to Canada.

I'd like to see the team go to a city that can truly support them. I'd be ecstatic if they wound up in Quebec.
