I want to create a protective case for my vertical mouse. So I took 3 scans with different sides of the original facing upwards to get enough details from almost any direction. Scanning and mesh processing took just minutes. Now I have a STL to use in my #FreeCAD design workflow. 👍

Big surprise: after 4 decades in IT it's my 1st Mac. But the most important #FOSS is already running fine. So, the differences in handling are not too big compared to my (still preferred) #linux PC running #gnome on #manjaro

The GREAT win: I can now use #FreeCAD anywhere I want. O, and the new 3D #Scanner (which I bought the #Mac for) also works!

A Hawk Private Moment
