It took longer than expected, but my #hydroponics video about Kratky bottles with 3d-printed parts is ready.
I tried other bottles but these 2l milk jugs are perfect in having wide throats, being stable against winds (I grow plants on an open balcony), and the size is good. They also pack well side-by-side since the bottom is rectangular.
The current batch of seedlings shown in the video is already bottled, mostly, with basil just about to. I'm currently out of empty bottles, and still need to sprout the seeds for the big container too.

All the models are made in FreeCAD, all the animations — in Friction2D. The milk jugs are local :)
The original inspiration by Hoocho's.

The name plate was designed in #FreeCAD¹, sliced in #PrusaSlicer¹, and printed on my custom-built 3D printer. Its parts were designed and shared by @bear_lab and runs on #MarlinFW.

The leatherette was designed in #Inkscape, the G-code generated with #KiriMoto, and cut with a custom little #vinylCutter attachment for the 3D printer².

Just finished milling an ebony bridge for my next acoustic guitar build.
It was modeled in #FreeCAD, using the Part and Curves workbenches.

Oh, and there is one more thing for this #FreeCADFriday:

If you use my (or any other) filament dry box, you might want a plug for the pneumatic coupler while the box is connected to the printer.

A compact handheld game console based on the ESP32 for #freecadFriday !

I reused a small lithium battery salvaged from a disposable e-cigarette to power this fun little gaming handheld.

If you like to build it:

The buttons from my Opel keyfob fell off, so I made a fix, perfect for this #FreeCADFriday. Print the body in TPU, the inserts in PLA, place the inserts inside the body, glue it to the keyfob and you don't need to buy a duplicate anymore 👍. https://www.printables.com/model/1721855-opel-keyfob-buttons-fix

For todays #FreeCADFriday and my #mayke I've made a little #bike accessory. I often end up lashing things on top of my rear rack (waterproofs mostly!) and they often obscure my light that used to live on my seatpost. I've whipped up a little #freecad doohickey and #3dprinted it in PETG. It can be loosened and rotated to the side or underneath depending on what I'm carrying. Pleased with it! #biketooter I shall publish the files somewhere soon!

For this #FreeCADFriday I have improved my filament dry box.

The box was already a trusty companion for 3D-printing needs, keeping filament in an air-tight environment even during printing.

Why did I need to change a perfect model you ask? Two reasons:

1. I added a flexible anti-slip TPU foot to decouple it from the surface it stands on.

2. I made it stackable by adding indentations that match the profile of the container.
