My superpowers are intact!

I hung the washing and now it’s raining.

Context: I read a *ton* of Grisham in high school and loved the Pelican Brief with Julia Roberts.

So a week or so ago I decided to give #Rainmaker a try.

I knew I had read the book but didn't remember the plot.

I'm really enjoying The Rainmaker. I enjoy a good proper legal drama. My only issue here is our main heroic sympathetic character, Rudy Baylor, is a colossal dick.

Until maybe now episode 6 he's been the least likable person in the show which is awful not because unlikable leading men don't make sense but because everything in the mise en scene says Rudy is likable. But he's kinda awful to his girlfriend not just in what he does but in how he reacts.
