Michaelo Markicevic, 67, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of Daniel Stopnicki, 47. CBC News has confirmed that Markicevic is a former police officer with Collingwood police and former York University executive.

According to both their words and what I've read the female lead is supposed to be so skinny she looks skeletal. In the manga she looks merely starved. And THAT is the issue.
This is the character who is both simultaneously so poorly drawn it breaks the immersion so hard people are dropping it. While at the same time the other contingent just wants to drool.
Reading this manga and there's a comment community under each chapter. This is hit or miss. Sometimes it's fun sometimes everyone's an idiot. This is a tale of the later.
There's a portion of the readers who say they are dropping it because the manga strays too far from the original novel. I started reading the novel just to see what they were talking about.
