My fiction features strong female protagonists, such as Jacqueline Farmington in BEER POUR, the United States Vice President. One of my favorite films with a strong female protagonist was "The Contender" with the brilliant Joan Allen and Jeff Bridges. Allen was being vetted to be the U.S. Vice President, and the amazing Gary Oldman was trying everything he could to stop her. Sympathy is subjective. The story of the band Everlasting Roaring Thunder is told from the point of view of the individual band members. The reader can therefore make up his own mind as to which of them he likes and which he dislikes. This opinion may change in the course of the story as the reader gets to know the characters better.
