It’s been too long since I’ve played this great album front to back.

It will forever and always be my favorite Nine Inch Nails record.
“Head Like A Hole” is in the same league as “Smells Like Teen Spirit” for me. It’s just one of the most formative songs of my youth and really went a long way in shaping and discovering the music of MY generation.

The first time I heard that song was watching a local cable access music video show on TV when I was 13.
It absolutely blew my mind.

After the Broken E.P., I kinda lost interest in Nine Inch Nails altogether. The Downward Spiral only had a couple of good songs on it that I liked, and everything following that I never cared about.

It’s just always going to be about PHM for me, along with the incredible Broken.

Got a whole stack of music winging its way to me in the mail. First up this one. Actually listening to this for the first time. A lot more dancier than I imagined for an Industrial record. Bloody awesome though. Trent Reznor sounds like an angry version of It Bites vocalist Francis Dunnery. #NineInchNails #PrettyHateMachine

Today I kind of begrudgingly went to check on some of my commission sales. I enjoy my relationships with record stores, I just hate feeling like I'm checking up on them sometimes.

Anyway, as I park the car and get out of it, someone in a wheelchair, going straight down the one-way street in the wrong direction, whizzes past and shouts the "I wanna f@¢ꓘ you like an animal!" line from #NIN - Closer at me.

There's no way they could know that I was there to ask about my #tribute, #PrettyEightMachine, but that's what I was there for.

Stay weird, #Baltimore.
