Pathfinder 1e: Legendary Planet

Legendary Planet is a third party science-fantasy Pathfinder 1e campaign that goes all the way from level 1 to level 20, and it starts with a signal that should not exist. A strange transmission. Ancient. Alien. Impossible. And instead of staying small, the story expands outward. New worlds. Forgotten civilizations. Technology so advanced it feels like magic. Cultures that challenge everything you thought you understood. The deeper you go, the bigger it becomes. What begins as curiosity turns into something vast, something cosmic, something that could reshape more than just one planet. This campaign blends traditional fantasy with science-fiction wonder. Expect ancient star-engines, alien ruins, strange environments, and escalating threats that feel truly epic in scope. In the question "What excites you most about Pathfinder?" your answer should contain the word dragons to show you've read all the text. The tone is exploratory and discovery-driven. It’s about stepping into the unknown together and asking, “What’s out there?” and then actually finding out. It’s less about politics or petty power struggles, and more about mystery, scale, and the thrill of standing on the edge of something enormous. If you love strange horizons, ancient secrets, and that quiet awe of looking up at the stars and realizing there’s more, this is that kind of adventure. Planned Start: March 27th, 2026 at 8pm EST- Session 0 Gestalt+Spheres, with some 3pp races involved in the mix.

#WednesdayGame Well, we cleared out a building on this one too. But it was giants and ogres in their fort from which they were planning to invade the lands we were helping with. In the modern era of "not all monsters are evil," it felt less shiny.

Fewer unconscious people in this one. But more PCs too. The kid really enjoyed playing their new inquisitor.

The funniest part? My cleric's obedience is to basically have a party around a bonfire. We decided to do

New player character for hells rebels #pf1e Kitbashed from storm cast and oathmark orc infantry. #miniatures

One minor issue I have with the Mythic subsystem as presented in #PF1e : they clearly made one path per ability score (plus Universal), which means the "Int path" is Archmage, and the "skillsy path" of Trickster is more focused on the Dex sorts... so there's a very intellectual-hero-shaped gap.

I don't suppose some third-party #OGL #PF1 product exists to fill the hole of a "Genius path"?

It occurs to me that I didn't squeeze tags into my above post, so:

Anyway, it's the kind of situation where I *would* just make up a feat, if I had a concept of what exactly a journeyman (level 3) specialist in indirect fire siege engines should have as unique expertise.

...Please hurry. My roommate's now trying to "solve the problem" with overly broad proposals to break 3.x's meta-rules. >_>;

I wonder what underwater civilizations' names for the "animal buffs" are. There's plenty of diversity in life under the sea, so it seems like it shouldn't be hard to come up with alternate names. There's no reason why merfolk and sahuagin would name spells after land animals and inland birds, after all.

It only took nearly 3 years (*), but my pirate-themed #Pathfinder Skull & Shackles game just finished part 3 (of 6), with the Free Captain's Regatta

(*) Over 4 years since the start of the campaign
