Points and Lines (Japanese: 点と線, Hepburn: Ten to Sen), is a novel by Seichō Matsumoto, published in 1958. It was first translated into English by Makiko Yamamoto and Paul C. Blum, published by Kodansha International in 1970.[2] A new translation by Jesse Kirkwood was released as Tokyo Express by Penguin Classics in 2022. I absolutely loved this murder mystery hinging on train timetables and two dogged, diligent detectives refusing to make the apparent assumption when confronted with the death of a couple on a remote, lonely beach.

I'm not sure I understood it all, but I enjoyed it. #ItWasSnowingButterflies is rather like reading an episode of David Attenborough; oddly calming and educational, with the added bonus that no animals are brutally killed in front of you. It's clear that #Darwin was very passionate about the nature and science he studied.
