Over the past few months(?) my main project for this account had been on a hiatus as I lost motivation to work on it... until now. That one is my tech gijinka one.

When I first started over I started hosting every character page and such on my github pages site as it seemed good at the time. Having to format everything in HTML turned out to be a pain that I ended up putting it on a hiatus.

This went on and on until a few weeks ago I was looking over at a friend's project and remembered my old wiki for the older version of my project. I wondered to myself if I would have been more productive if I brought it back so well... yeah.

The Mainframe is back in a actual proper wiki form. Every page has been transferred over from the old one hosted on my site with some extras added because of new ideas.

This one is of Odyssey-tan, a rare character representing the canceled Windows Odyssey. Though she’s not as widely drawn as other OS-tans she is seen in artworks alongside friends like Windows 97, Moseko, and Neptune.

Her first appearance remains unknown

Hello #Fediverse, here’s today’s daily OS-tan!

This one is of Neptune-tan, a OS-tan of Windows Neptune, the canceled Windows version. Neptune-tan is often depicted as a strong and fierce character, sometimes shown wielding large weapons and surrounded by friends like Windows 97, Odyssey, Moseko, and various designs of Longhorn.

She wears a black, sleeveless qipao with blue accents and red bracelets, a red talisman is on her collar and she has mechanical headpieces that give her a slightly futuristic vibe. Her long, green pigtails are usually accompanied by a red visor which has become one of her most recognisable features.

Several of her artworks were created by an artist known as イオンのバイド (Ion no Baido) on Pixiv such as the first image shown, though it’s believed they did not originate her concept due to differing art styles.

A new day and a new update, heh. This update was actually worth it because besides minor fixes to Valsun and Threshold’s pages, a page for my Mac OS 8/9 character has been published. After being idle for a while I did some updates to my OS-tan universe for once. This adds extra parts to character pages such as skin tones and actually adding descriptions for the hairstyles characters have, though I most likely missed a page or two...

I lost motivation rather quickly on my *own* prompt list I created so this was the last character I ever did. This is Valencia Marisela McGovern-Tiburón as seen in Chapter 7 of I Was a Software Developer by @synergy as part of her Operating Superstars project, which is a take on the concept of personifying computers and operating systems.

Valencia represents the VMS/VAX
