liaI decided to set up a vintage gaming console that's turning 20 this year! It had just been collecting dust in my storage, but for today's RetroGaming Day, I felt like it was appropriate to dig it back out and see if it still works!
And it did! After some touching up (and de-dusting, most importantly) it actually spun up after all these years!
I played some of its – now admittedly quite archaic – games, and contrary to what I expected from gaming hardware this simplistic, it was actually kind of fun!
It's crazy the length people had to go to back in the day just to play a video game. It uses digital video disks (DVDs) to store software. I was only a toddler at the time, so I hardly remember these times…
