Look I get it. It's okay to not be schooled in open source licenses. However, for a company to distribute AGPL licensed software and then threaten to sue someone for using that AGPL licensed software as intended by the license, that's beyond chutzpah. That's begging for bad karma. That's Bambu labs apparently. I hope they go bust.

GitHub is het zoveelste voorbeeld van #AI #enshittification op het Web, getuige de recente downtime en fuckups.

Het is verstandig eens goed na te denken over (niet- #bigtech) alternatieven om je code te hosten. Bijvoorbeeld CodeBerg, forgejo of — natuurlijk! — code.overheid.nl. Bij voorkeur #opensouce en in #europa natuurlijk.

GH lijkt nu nog de 'standaard' keuze, maar ik voorspel (en hoop!) dat het code-platform-landschap er over een jaar heel anders uit ziet...

El problema es que, cuando criminalicen la libertad de expresión y te hagan seguimiento (porque así será: lo sabrán todo, estarás en una lista y la aprovecharán para beneficiarse), te encuadrarán en la misma categoría que los piratas o los criminales reales.
Y esto no es nuevo: en otros países, bajo esa misma excusa, ya se aplican restricciones totales, a la sombra de Estados Unidos, pero cada vez más parecidas a Corea del Sur, donde controlan absolutamente todo.
