If I can get rid of my executive dysfunction, I think I'm able to make version 1.0 of Artificial Rage happen this summer.
I went through some of the tasks I have written for it:
There's not "that much" to do on paper. Mostly sound effects and menus/huds, etc. And some game state handling. Then of course levels.
I would be very happy to get the 1.0 out, so I can start shipping it: I kind of want to try making a flatpak out of it.
After that I can gradually just update it with new shinies whenever I feel like it.
As usual, gamedev tends to throw tons of curveballs at you so I can't promise anything.
But also it would finally allow myself to work on new projects. I want to make something with Godot, something I've been wanting to make for long time.
Here's hoping I can allow myself to gamedev during summer. The drive is there, but executive dysfunction is no joke. :V
I can say that moving the project to Odin language was such a good choice. It allows me to work on the game so much easier.
