Built with AI assistance by someone who can't write code independently. That's kind of the point — tools should work for everyone.

Update:
We changed the name to Slate, and there is now a GitHub org at: https://github.com/orgs/slatelang-dev/repositories
We're working through the rewrite, Slate will be self-hosted with a small GC + LLVM IR + compiled to machine code.
Neurodivergent devs: what languages actually *click* for your brain? Not popularity — what feels kind, predictable, low-cognitive-load? Why?
I'm building a framework for ND devs and want real experiences. Rust? Go? Odin? Python? Something else?
Tell me what works (or doesn't) for you.

Just joined! I'm the creator of:
• parawalk – a minimal parallel directory walker (no gitignore, no glob, just fast traversal)
• parex – an embeddable parallel search engine (generic over any data source)
• ldx – a blazing-fast file search CLI built on both
I love Rust, systems programming, and building tools that are fast, clean, and useful. Looking for kind people who enjoy the same.
Happy to answer questions about the projects or just chat about code.
