And finally, it’s missing a two-chord mess that some pals and I made up on the spot called “I Love You Baby.” We recorded it in the 90s on instruments nobody played (except the bass player who tries valiantly but fails to keep it together) in a basement dungeon rehearsal space. As it fades out you hear my man Jeff ask, “Did you hear the lyrics I made up?!?” It’s an #unreleased #nofi gem.

Sweeping Promises - Good Living is Coming for You

This is like someone found a new wave/pop gem from 1980 recorded on a cassette under someone's car seat.

Highly DIY, almost mono no-fi sound (might even BE mono) and, can I say it, lots of fun.

(Sad that they decamped Boston for Kansas, but you gotta do what you gotta do.)
