Everyone is invited to join a Peace March led by members of Hawai's faith community. Meet at Thomas Square to meet others at 9:30; the march down King Street to the No Dictators Protest at the State Capitol will begin at 10:15. Join Refuse Fascism activists at 9:30 to hand out "No War on Iran" stickers and leaflets. Refuse Fascism Hawai`i is not organizing a separate contingent in the march but RF supporters will be joining other people of conscience in the street to build the power of the people and with our message against Trump's lawless international aggression and to resist fascism

Community coming out because they are exhausted by the chaos rather than sitting at home angry that our democracy, inalienable rights and justice for all are being eroded. Action is the antidote to anxiety. Meeting in front of the Target sign on Sundays. Parking is readily available. We spread out along Miller Parkway and display our pro-democracy signs and encourage joiners. Raising awareness and gaining more to the movement is our goal. We would like to have themed messaging and try to announce that to the people who sign up. The themes are determined by what chaos is happening that week. Every Thursday from 6:00-6:30 p.m., In front of the Hancock County Court House. This is not a replacement for our larger protests. It works along side them. This weekly, neighborhood-based action harnesses the power of visibility and community. When people see others take a stand, they're inspired to join. It's one of the simplest ways everyday people can stand up to authoritarianism: together. This is a safe space to get your feet wet if you've never protested. A quieter, peaceful, persistent presence of solidarity with like-minded folks. Create some signs that express your rejection of the hate and cruelty of the current administration, or we can share some of ours. Wear warm and light-colored clothing to be visible. We meet under the bright streetlights. Please try to park away from where we protest for better visibility for our protesters. You don't have to sign up if you do not choose, just show up!
