The Board of Deputies of British Jews & the Jewish Leadership Council are organising a rally against antisemitism.
PM Keir Starmer, is considering attending, and Tory leader Kemi Badenoch is expected to speak. Reform UK leader, Nigel Farage & LibDem leader, Ed Davey, have also been invited, but the only Jewish party leader, the Green Party's Zack Polanski, has not.

A fun thing that happened was that I expressed concern that the Trumpists would attempt to hold on to power regardless of electoral outcomes and was assured that Trump et al had no plausible mechanism to rig national elections so I should just relax and trust in the anticipated Blue Wave to handle the problem.
And, well, here are the Republicans staging a judicial coup to cement their permanent rule regardless of electoral outcomes!
You might not be able to anticipate which particular strategy they’re going to pursue, but you can be confident that authoritarians will never stop trying, and certainly not because of some trivial obstacles like procedure or law.
It seems to me that every week now we see footage of people in the USA sliding down an aircraft emergency exit slide.
Oh, and all of them take their hand luggage with them. I mean....

A guy I know has asked what the best way to get rid of his childhood Star Wars toys - a decent sized collection of those original series figures, vehicles, and sets. Maybe 80 - 100 of them in various states of played with.
Anyone have suggestions that might make him some cash or otherwise increase the joy in the world rather than simply binning them?
