Yaaaaaas! I am so excited that Engima Heart is in Next Fest! Congrats @ClarusPlusPlus!!!
I am so looking forward to this game! Zelda II is my favorite of the 2D Zeldas, so having a game that takes that gameplay concept, and tosses on a captivating narrative with actual storytelling is incredible!
Wishlist it on Steam or Follow it on Itch.io (or both!) to stay in the loop!
Disclosure: I have been involved with the closed playtests.

I much dislike that the #Steam client (and perhaps other game managers) can't discern if the game has left the main menu or is on pause for the purposes of counting game time.
Due to the #NextFest technical wonkyness the demo listings didn't show if you already installed a game or not. You had an “Instal Demo” button and if you had a game installed it launched it.
Now I have a demo played for 38hrs, because it didn't spawn a game window.
Edit: see next toot.
AAA! In a good way – in multiple good ways! In Mayor May Knott, you rebuild the community in a spooky but cartoony game. I don’t want to add anything more (there are songs… fudge), or make reductive comparisons (it’s like it was made by Double Fine… double fudge), and the final game could turn for the worse or peter out, but the demo is great!
With the big font, good on Steam Deck, too.

A "creepy-cozy" 3D adventure game about a shy girl who accidentally becomes the mayor of a haunted ghost town full of terrifying monsters! Solve puzzles, play minigames, listen to original songs, and interact with a variety of strange creatures to overcome your fears and create a happy community!
There are many games inspired by Resident Evil & Silent Hill. But here we have a more unique specimen: #ParasiteMutant is going after, as you might guess from its name, #ParasiteEve. The game uses an Active Time Bar-like system where you can run around during combat and wait for a gauge to fill in order to issue attacks and other commands. It looks nice and is steamdeckable. I have slight concern over the jiggle physics, tho.

This is a bio-horror RPG featuring a retro third-person semi-fixed camera and an ATC combat system that blends real-time and turn-based elements. You play as Nova, a Psionic Agent sent to investigate a mysterious abandoned city-island, ultimately uncovering the hidden truth and rewriting fate.
It’s impossible to say whether this type of game will be good or bad, problematic or not. For now, I know that #DreadFields isn’t an actual farming game, but it uses farming as a framing device. Seems interesting, works on your Linuxes and Decks. There’s no gamepad support again, tho.
