I always wanted to try making nude self-portraits against the backdrop of half-abandoned places in the city. Not that the idea was too original, but I was interested in contrasts and contexts.

Why #Naked?

#Nakedness reveals the #truth. It ends pretence. There’s no pretending to be a “good #Buddhist,” no hiding behind robes or roles. In #HadakaShizenyoku, each practitioner meets the world as they are: vulnerable, equal, open. Gender, age, status — all dissolve. The #Naked #body is not erotic or shameful. It is #natural. It is enough.
