I get very tired of having to untick ad-vendors' so-called "legitimate interest" when setting up apps. That could mean anything.

I once found a cookie which stated a 10-year lifespan, which reset every time the app was used.

It makes me wish we could have everything on free trial, then have paid tiers, not this "surveillance ad culture" we have resignedly accepted.
