I love #makingart but, increasingly & most especially, making #comicbooks .
I'm slow & I'm teaching myself everything along the way, and I really want to find my audience, but I'm #drawing it and enjoying it regardless.

Behold! It's art.
I wanted to get a lot more depth of values in the black ink painting, but the paper in this book isn't actually good enough for that kind of layering & detail. It can only absorb so much.
When you've got the skills to do the thing, and the thing still looks like trash. Adversity builds skills and character, or so I've been told. So maybe you cry, maybe you drink yourself stupid, but in the morning you wash off your raccooned mascara, chug some coffee, and just keep going.

Next step is underway, still part of the #inking process technically, it's the grey markers' turns to shine.
Do you really NEED more reasons to follow me?
Back at the drawing board, working on small details in the background of this page of my #comicbook .
it's all #wip #makingart #inking vibes RN, bit screentone is coming soon!
Just emptied my ancient makeup out of the pink organizer on the right there, which allowed me to make a little more space on the desk. It is not usually this tidy of a space (believe it or not), & it will soon reclutter itself.
If you want to create art, I highly recommend making a permanent place to do it where you don't have to worry about mess, if you can (I know not everyone has the room to spare).
Having this space makes it possible for me to create whenever I feel like it.
