I’ve loved this song from the first time I ever heard it nearly 46 years ago when “Making Movies” was released; saw the video for the first time in the fall of 1980 on “Nightflight.” I learned today the “roller girl” in the video, Jayzik Azikiwe, died on 31 January, 2008. I also learned in doing some reading on her career she was the daughter of Nigeria’s first president. Rest easy, Jay. This one on deck today is for you.
