@[email protected] Q2: Outside of what you’d describe as your main making, do you make anything else? Your own clothes? Bread? Cakes? Stuff for the house/garden?
A2: I’m quite versatile with DIY. I’ll do ‘basic’ plumbing (I don’t touch central heating!), ‘basic’ electrics (fitting lights etc), brickwork, paving, guttering and once I ended up on the roof fixing a tile that had slipped.

Yep. It used to be about 5pm, end of a working day.
Now I might finish at 11 am as I have other things to do, aiming to restart at 3pm, but then I don't get back to it and forget for a few days.
There isn't the workshop routine anymore.

Today we went to the community workshop,
And painted an IBC container.
Did the laundry for Mum,
And brought in the bins at work.
Tried to figure out a better satnav location in the car,
Cussing product designers all the way.
Made sure there was access to emergency stuff in the car,
And got the jump back charged up.
It has gotten really cold this evening,
Heating turned up twice already!

Work-wise, it's the whole spectrum. I've had a huge project regarding a new-build school on the go for a few years, and I have lots of 30 second fixes every day, and everything in between.
