Today we went to the community workshop,
My first job was to unclog the gutters.
Then we helped new members with their projects,
I brought my drill and some big hole saws.
One older member was 80 today,
So we took him a cake to share.
It was a good morning,
Despite the rain.
I fell asleep after lunch,
And was woken by the meds delivery for Mum.
I booked in a house viewing,
For when we are in Wales.
Still not ready to buy,
But we need to start looking around.
Did caretaking work,
And had to pull a mass of wet wipes out of a toilet!
Showed Mum the house we'll be looking at,
She was impressed.
Took part in MakersHour tonight,
It was great fun.
Tired now,
So off to bed.

Today I did the bins,
Then met Sue at work.
I did the bins there too,
And cleaned the church for a wedding.
Popped to the estate agents,
And had a good and positive chat.
Then went to the post office,
To find out about a missing parcel.
Came home to a parcel of my own,
I now have a working Psion 5MX.
Checked some old laptops,
And wiped old data.
Then spoke with an estate agent in Wales,
We'll drop in on them when we're on holiday.
Met my manager at work,
And had a long chat about some more work.
Popped in to see Mum,
And we had a long chat.
Watched a bit of TV,
And had a long think about stuff.
Tired now,
So off to bed.

Today we took Mum shopping,
Then I did a load of admin.
All stuff to do with house moving,
There is a lot to take into account.
Sent emails,
And checked lots of stuff.
Went into work,
I needed to clear out weed and rubbish.
Did caretaking,
And made sure everything was OK.
Checked on Mum,
She's fine.
Watched a bit of TV,
And a few videos.
Now time for bed,
As I am very tired.

Today we ran away,
And ended up in Llandudno.
Struggled to find the car chargers,
And ended up driving round and round a multi-storey carpark.
We had coffee,
And a mooch around.
Then bought fish and chips,
To have on the beach.
Sue paddled,
I sat and read.
I also made work phone calls,
And sent emails.
Then we had tea and cakes,
Before driving home.
Did caretaking work,
Then got ready to go out again.
Went to the Miniatures Club,
And made little plates and dishes.
I painted my nails,
Been a long time since I've done that.
Home now,
And time for bed.

Today we had eggs for breakfast,
As is tradition.
Then we loaded up the car,
And donated stuff to the North West Computer Museum.
Then we went to check out a park cafe,
It was very weird.
We had a walk around,
But no need to repeat the experience.
Home for a very late lunch,
And then sort out more stuff for the museum.
Checked on Mum,
And found yet more donateable stuff.
Tried catching up on videos,
But way too many of them.
We'll go out tomorrow for our belated wedding anniversary,
Today was just a bit too busy for it.

Today we loaded all the tools,
And went to Boothstown Repair Cafe.
Lots of repairs were done,
Despite being short staffed.
Then we popped into work,
And carried out an afternoon of maintenance work.
Made sense with a car full of tools,
Saves unloading and reloading.
It made it a hard working day,
But still it was fun.
I did the laundry,
While Sue cooked dinner.
We had dinner with Mum,
Roast chicken and veg.
Watched a couple of videos,
But tired now.

Today I laundered and made the bed,
And met Sue at work to clean the church.
Popped into Lidl for groceries,
And some pajamas for Mum.
Then to B&Q,
to buy a door handle for work.
Sorted out old tech and books,
They will go to the North West Computer Museum.
Did caretaking,
And cleaned the Meeting House.
Caught up on some videos,
And researched Psion 5MX connectivity.
Busy day tomorrow,
So off to bed.

I bought some budget Aldi work lights,
They will be useful in the basement.
Finally replaced the rear wiper on the car,
It was made up parts as OEM is not available.
Did caretaking,
And had to do a quick fix on a door handle.
Spent a bit of time with Mum,
She is fed up with the kids next door.
As am I,
With them trying to climb over our wall.
Joined in with MakersHour,
That was fun.
Had some night time breakfast cereal,
As I am losing weight again.
Tired now,
Time for bed.

That's a back breaking job!

And made phone calls.
Then we loaded stuff in the car,
And did a tip to the trip.
I had a delivery for work,
So I took that when I did the caretaking.
Did the bins there too,
That wasn't as bad as it could have been.
Had a chat with Mum,
She is having problems with her fingernails.
Tried to charge up an LED flood light,
But I think I might have lost the charge lead.
Watched a bit of TV,
And a couple of videos.
Tired now,
And time for bed.
