Good way to enjoy Sunday.
First pour of my latest Pilsner Urquell. Traditional triple decoction recipe. This is with Weyermann Bohemian malt. Its brother is with the floor malted and will have a photo shoot soon. Lagered 50 days. Poured from a Lukr faucet - as it is meant to be
I am most definitely going to make more of this Pilsner Urquell recipe as soon as I have time. Need to keep a solid pipeline of this. Way too drinkable. Particularly poured from a Lukr faucet. And I’m not sharing with anyone :)
Very interesting that this Floor Malted is more pale than the Bohemian malt.

Just (re)watching Casino Royale and noticed that in the poker game scene after Vesper enters, kisses Bond and then goes to bar - the taps behind her are Lukr faucets. Something I would have never noticed or know about when I first or even previously watched the movie.
Put my latest California Common on a Lukr faucet. Oh yeah!

Washington Post has an article about properly poured Czech and German beers (and proper English ales). Definitely some influence from Lukr (I love my Lukr faucets). The comments on the article are indicative of so much that has been wrong with US mainstream beer for decades. Really wonder why all the people bothered to read, and comment, on a WaPo article if all they want to drink is canoe sex beer.
