@ambientspace arrived today. One can immediately into an ice water bath so I could drink it as soon as possible.
Chinook hops are really good for a California Common. Of course more lean than the one I make. Very refreshing after working outside all day today.

Two brews in a day is a major accomplishment. Windy and not so nice weather so was a good day to brew since I couldn’t really do much outside.
Planning to brew a Kölsch tomorrow in anticipation of warmer weather on the horizon. And if I get an early enough start, all goes well, and I have the energy I may also brew a California Common/Anchor Steam-ish beer. Maybe over optimistic - let’s see
My last pour of my California Common. I need to find time to make another batch of this. My intent was to always have this on tap but the new job has slowed down the brewing pipeline.

PC@RobIafrati hey Rob, I am a homebrewer and beer drinker from California, I know about #AnchorBrewing ’s #SteamBeer but I don’t think I’ve ever heard the name #CaliforniaCommon.
The most common craft beers out here are #WestCoastIPA. One of our local (now defunct) breweries, the Rubicon, helped defined the style in the 80s. Thanks for the tip, I’ll have to look it up.
Rob IafratiMade a California Common style beer, but paired the Northern Brewer hops with Lórien (IH033).
