isso é consequência da plena abertura e cooperação entre usuário e desenvolvedor, coisa que a cultura de #lockineffect das empresalhonas de tecnologia, em sua ganância e arrogância, não conseguem contemplar.

Sehe ich genau so. Das mehr oder weniger bewusste Nudgeing zu den Hauptinstanzen ist leider ein Problem, was viele eigentlich dezentrale Systeme praktizieren (siehe z.B. auch Element mit Matrix.org). Dabei ist ja gerade die völlige funktionelle Unabhängigkeit von reiner Größe eines der Alleinstellungsmerkmale und Vorteile. Das verstehen aber “Neulinge” erst mal natürlich nicht. Als ich das #Fediverse entdeckte hab ich das auch nicht verstanden, dass es für mich keinen Vorteil bedeutet, auf ner Mamutinstanz zu sein. Dabei macht das ja gerade den Unterschied: hier gibt es keinen #LockInEffect, wie wir es von den kommerziellen Nutzerhaltergiganten her kennen.
